When deciding on the size of press: remember it needs to be at least a quarter
full in order to work properly.
For 'whole bunch pressing' a much larger press is needed.

There are many options, the best (a unique design from NIKO) is: hinged lower side and upper side, allowing easy access from one side of the press, for emptying and washing out.
