Winegrowers Supplies  -  collecting hopper with auger - for de-stemmed grape mash or apple pommace

Hopper with 230 volt motorised auger: 600 Euros

390 mm x 390 mm x 200 mm deep; 380 mm high including the leg.

Can be connected directly to a rubber impeller pump (Z110 or Z180) or a large eccentric screw (monho) pump.

Note: we have found that the above hopper does not work with milled apples, due to the steep sides of the hopper, which results in 'bridging' from one side to the other, so the apple pieces are in an arch above the auger.

Low level hopper on four castors, with 0.55 kWatt, 230 Volt motorised auger: 1020 Euros

The photo shows a Garolla clamp connection but DN65 is also available, at extra cost.

Can be connected via a short hose to a rubber impeller pump (Z110 or Z180) or large eccentric screw pump.

Overall dimensions of the unit: 830 mm x 530 mm x 300 mm high,
top of hopper is 600 mm x 470mm inside the lip.

Note: after a lot of trials we have found that this is not suitable for apple pommace, as there is not enough juice to lubricate the rubber impeller.

or the Niko mash pump with hopper, which works really well with apple pommace !

Kiesel Flat mash pumps FTF: specially for use under de-stemming machines or mills.

Made of 1.4301 stainless steel; includes hopper, casing, chassis, shaft, feeding-screw, joint pieces and special throw rotor. The pumps run completely vibration-free, due to the light weight of the construction.
The rotation speed is chosen to be slow, in order not to smash the transported material. The joints of the pumps are open construction to simplify cleaning; they can rotate in either direction for cleaning.
