Neck Freezers
New:-
A neck freezer is necessary for
disgorging the sediment from Sparkling Wines.
Various models are available,
holding from 7 to 87 bottles; fixed plate units holding from 7
to 32 bottles; rotary plate units holding from
60 to 120 bottles.
The rotary models are designed
with a turning plate and a stirring unit to mix the cooling liquid, so that
all the bottles on the plate are frozen to the same degree.
The cooling liquid is
non-toxic ethylene or propylene glycol, mixed with water 50% + 50%.
There is an electronic thermostat for
temperature control; working temperature is - 25 to - 30
°C.
The frame is stainless steel,
mounted on wheels, with polyeurethane insulation internally.
