A very popular and useful piece of equipment for the small producer or serious hobbyist; there are even large wineries that use it for experimental batches.
The Enolmatic has a vacuum pump that removes air from the bottle (or other container to be filled), the vacuum created (0.8 Bar) then draws the wine (or other liquid) directly into the bottle (or container) without any contact with mechanical components.
The Enolmatic has a proven history of over 20 years in every wine region of the world.
The 'Tandem' filtration accessory offers professional filtration for small volumes.

Enolmatic vacuum bottle filler, only £264

By connecting a Tandem cartridge filter, it is possible to siphon, filter and fill in one operation:-

Tandem filter housing unit (without cartridge), £119.40; includes tubing to connect to Enolmatic filler.
The housing holds one cartridge. It is designed to be used under vacuum and is different than housings sold for household water filters. Up to three filter units can be used in series, so you can perform coarse and sterile filtration successively in one operation. With care and the use of Enosal a cartridge can be used thousands of times before it is exhausted.

Tandem membrane filter cartridges:-

Filter Cartridges for wine (or cider): made of food-grade material and are washable and reusable.
The filter material is pleated which provides larger surface area. They have a high quality plastic housing and there is no risk of the membrane separating and entering the wine.

Choice of filter cartridge:-
0.25 micron (£66) for non-dry wines; this removes yeast and bacteria,
0.5 micron (£60) for dry wines; this removes yeast but not all bacteria,
1 micron (£59), or 5 micron (£55.20) for red wines or pre-filtering.

Enosal: powder for washing and sanitising filter cartridges.
           Make a 10 grams/litre solution, so 250 grams is enough for 25 cleanings, £9.90
Soak the cartridge in the solution, then agitate it in the solution. After cleaning, allow the filter to dry completely and store dry.
